During Memorial Day Weekend, I played a little bit of a tourist roll in San Francisco. I was lucky enough to have a full 4 days off work and chose to spend the time in the city exploring. On Monday, I headed to Twin Peaks with a friend in hopes of seeing the incredible views of the bay and the city. With Karl the Fog (a local term) in San Francisco, you can never be too sure if the peaks will be covered but we were in luck!
Although it was a warm day, the wind was howling at about 60 km or 37 miles an hour and I knew I needed to be covered. I wore by trusty Lululemon Pace leggings to cover my legs. These are some of the best leggings I've ever had and this particular pair have been in my closet for over three years. To cover my arms, I went with my chambray top. I love chambray for spring and summer and have been wearing this one on repeat. Since we were going for a bit of a walk, I threw on my Nike Frees to make sure I could make it to the top!
When we reached the top, we had perfect views of the entire city! There are many vantage points of the city that I've been to (Coit Tower, Dolores Park, Alamo Square) but this was a view unlike any other. When you spend a lot of time in the City of San Francisco its easy to lose sight of what's around you but Twin Peaks makes it perfectly clear.
We spent some time walking around and taking photos but then I just let myself appreciate the view and everything that the Bay Area has to offer. If you live in San Francisco or are visiting this summer, put this stop on your must do list.
There are tons of amazing summer sales going on if you're looking to stock up on any active wear for the summer and I've linked a few of my favorite finds below. You can click on the photos below to take you to the site. I hope you're all gearing up for Summer 2016!
As always, thanks for stopping by!!
