Happy Sunday Ya'll! Hope you enjoy your day of rest and our new February Favorites. We've love to hear yours in the comments below. You can look forward to our monthly favorites on the last Sunday of every month.
Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Serum
Pepper: I picked up this Kiehl's Serum from their shop on Fillmore Street two weeks ago and have incorporated it into my evening skin care routine. I've noticed a definite difference in my skin and an improvement in its overall health. I apply this serum after cleansing my face and before evening moisturizer. For anyone looking for a serum addition to their evening skin care routine, I'd recommend this one.
OPI Tiramisu For Two
Pepper: I've always been a fan of OPI polishes; they give me the longest wear possible without using a Shellac gel. For years, I have alternated between Lincoln Park After Dark, my fall and winter hue, and Funny Bunny, my spring and summer light pink, but have found a new favorite to add to my rotation. For the past 4 or 5 times I've gone to my nail salon I've had them use Tiramisu For Two, a very neutral nude, which complements my skin tone perfectly. Generally, I'm a fan of darker shades in the winter but have been loving the warmth of this nude color for these never ending winter months.
Banana Republic Blouse
Pepper: I can't believe I'm saying this, but my favorite blouse of the moment is this one from Banana Republic! Season after season, I seem to be underwhelmed with the collections from BR but always seem to find one piece that I love. This white blouse is perfect for spring and summer and can easily transition from work to night. I love wearing it to work with my waxed black denim from Citizens of Humanity and a cool pair of flats to keep my look a little edgy. I've found a few other blouses online from BR that I might try - here and here.
Shinolta + Randolph Sunglasses
Piper: From Bella Hadid rocking an extreme pair to Alessandra Ambrosio's athleisure look, it seems round sunglasses are everywhere! I noticed these Shinola + Randolph Sunglasses last weekend during a Queen Street West stroll. Not only were they presented beautifully, cue the marble table & pale pink case, but as soon as I picked them up I knew I had to have them! The lightweight feel, partnered with the structured and stabled design makes for a perfect pair of summer glasses. Round Raybans have dominated over the last year or so and I've been eyeing (no pun intended) a few of their other pairs in the shopable widget below.
Mark Jacobs iPhone Case
Piper: For those of us that are a little more klutzy in nature like me, investing in a good phone case is a necessity. After cracking my phone for the 2nd time in 6 weeks, I couldn't be happier with my new Marc Jacobs case! I opted for a "book style" so the front is always protected. I love the parrot design, card slots, and magnetic fastener, which is perfect for someone as clumsy as me. A few other options I love are this Kate Spade, this Ted Baker, and this Casteify, which is great for summer. P.S. make sure to double check the right sized case for your phone if you're purchasing online!
Pepper: My boyfriend bought a Roomba before Christmas and it quickly has become our go to for cleaning the apartment floors. For most of us city dwellers, we live in smaller, one floor spaces which makes the Roomba a perfect vacuum that you can run as you walk out the door for work or on the weekends when you're out for brunch. The Roomba has no trouble picking up on our wood floors and carpets. This vacuum is definitely on the more expensive side of things but well worth it!
As always, thanks for stopping by!
