Last weekend, I headed home to Toronto for my best friend's Bachelorette Weekend. A group of seven of us spent the weekend in an amazing AirBNB at Blue Mountain to celebrate with the bride.
One of my favorite parts of the weekend were the moments we shared when we showered the bride with gifts. Both myself and the bride have a creative spirit and I wanted to make sure that was reflected in the gifts we gave her.
I picked up this notebook from Riffle Paper Co to act as a scrapbook of our memories from the weekend. I started the book before the weekend with some Polaroid photos of the gifts from me a title page with the names of the #LunnysLadies. I brought along my FujiFilm Polaroid camera for the weekend and we ended up taking over 30 photos of our weekend shenanigans.
Knowing our bride very well, most of us picked up beautiful blush colored lingerie for our lingerie party. The pieces were all so delicate, feminine, and perfectly suited for her.
This bralette on the top from Forever21 is not only beautiful but also so reasonably priced. The scalloped detailing on bra on the bottom left from Free People instantly drew me to it. The bra from Aerie on the bottom right is beautiful but also functional for every day and as a bonus is currently on sale! The robe from La Senza below will be perfect for lounging during the honeymoon this summer. They're all so beautiful if you're looking for a gift or simply to treat yo self!
After our weekend was said and done, I left the bride with the notebook, Polaroids, and of course all the lingere for her to add her creative touch to the scrap book. I've loved getting snapchats from her this week with the progress shes been making in putting it all together! The panties are from Free People and Forever 21 and go with the matching bras above.
The best thing you can get a friend who is getting married is an experience or momento of time shared together leading up to the big day that they'll remember forever. I knew that this scrap book filled with memories would mean the most to my bride and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out! The photos in this post were taken by myself and the bride herself as a co-contributor!
FYI: You can get $20 off your first stay with AirBNB here. I highly recommend AirBNB for any of your upcoming trips.
Lots of love!
