I finally made a trip to AS QUOTED this past weekend. I'd walked by this spot a few times after a morning of golf in the Presidio and have had it on my list for quite some time. This cafe is a community eatery in Presidio Heights that serves seasonal local cuisine as well as a full menu of coffee, teas, and other beverages.
AS QUOTED is a true neighborhood spot and on a busy Saturday morning there were people with their bikes, dogs, and families loading up on delicious food and much needed coffees before the day ahead. The decor of AS QUOTED is right on trend with a white color palette, minimalist clean lines, marble counter tops, and mixed metal accents. They also have simple floral accents on each table which are changed up on a weekly basis.
There was a lot of thought and consideration that went into the menu here. Whether you're dairy, gluten, nut free, or any combination, there's something that you can enjoy. There's a delicious selection of salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and soups as well as coffee! I love a good cappuccino and loved the espresso bar as its open concept and you can see the barista making your drink. I'm really looking forward to trying to Turmeric Latte the next time I stop in which is a combination of fresh turmeric, ginger, almond milk, coconut oil, sea salt, and coconut sugar.
Along with my cappuccino, I had an opened faced breakfast sandwich and sparkling water. The sandwich came with a poached egg, bacon, goats cheese, rocket, chives and a tad of mayo. It was the perfect on-the-go Saturday morning brunch. I was in and out within 20 minutes and continued on my day but was pleasantly surprised to find that they do have Wifi at AS QUOTED. So many independent coffee shops in SF are Wifi free, which is great, but it is nice to have the option and the ability to sit and work for a few hours. AS QUOTED is a definite recommend by me and a great new place to try in the city.
As always, thanks for stopping by!!
